KALANKARI more info
Kalankari ran three times in this years Carnival in Dubai.
He won first time out leading from start to finish which is almost unheard of at Nad al Sheba. He then ran well to finish 3rd and 5th after the opposition got the idea of how he ran his races.
He returned to the UK after the Carnival and ran in a Conditions Race at Warwick as a prep for a Group campaign. Tragically he broke down during the race by snapping his Flexor Tendon thus terminating his racing career, an injury almost unheard of on the flat.
After intensive rest and care, he now goes to be a polo pony stallion so at least will have a happy retirement.
LUNDY'S LANE more info
He ran 4 times during the Carnival and proved a little dissapointing. He never ran a bad race and his best finishing position of 4th did not truly reflect his ability. He needed some better rides and a little luck to produce his best.
He has since returned to the UK and has run twice in two of the most competitive mile handicaps of the season, finishing 7th of 30 at Royal Ascot and then a fast finishing 6th at Sandown - both very good efforts.
CORRIOLANUS more info
He ran three times in this years Carnival, finishing a closing 5th in his first run over 12 furlongs to the German sensation Quijano. His two subsequent runs were non-events in that he lost a shoe on both occasions. He has since returned to the UK and will be aimed at various handicaps during the season.
BERINGOER
He proved disappointing in Dubai and has since been sold as he has obviously not managed to recapture his two year old form.
