LUNDY'S LANE

Bay Gelding foaled in 2000 by Darshaan X Lunda by Soviet Star.

Lundy's Lane was purchased at the Newmarket Horses in Training sale in October 2004 for 52,000 gns.

He was then shipped to Dubai where Satish Seemar took charge of him. He ran twice in the Carnival with credit but was found to have old stomach ulcers which after treatment left him a different horse. He then ran three more times winning once and coming second twice, never beaten by more than half a length. Majors Cast beat him in a photo and then went on to run in the Breeders Cup.

At the time of purchase he was rated 87 and is now rated 102 on turf and 98 on dirt and there should be more improvement to come from him this season.

In five outings in 2004 he won 410,000dhs and his first run this season netted 3,000dhs.

CORRIOLANUS

Bay Horse Foaled in 2000 by Zamindar X Caesarea by Generous

Corriolanus was purchased privately with the help of Alastair Donald for 50,000stg in early October and immediately shipped to Dubai to be with Satish Seemar.

In last year's Carnival he ran three times, winning once and coming second twice. His first run saw him beaten by 1.25 lengths into second place by Boule d'Or over ten furlongs. He then went on to beat Razkalla by 1.5 lengths over twelve furlongs and he finally ran second to Collier Hill beaten by 1.25 lengths.

Razkalla then went on to run second in the Dubai Sheema Classic with Collier Hill third behind the Andrew Balding trained Phoenix Reach. Collier Hill later won the Irish St Leger 2005.

Back in the UK Corriolanus ran fifth in the Winter Derby beaten bt Eccentric (who is now with Satish) and finally he came third in a Group 2 in Germany.

He was voted Epsom International Racehorse of the year at an award ceremony in November.

At the time of purchase he is rated 105 on turf and dirt.

He won approx $150,000 at last year's Carnival and we have high hopes for this season.

KALANKARI

Kalankari was purchased at the Newmarket October yearling sales for 31,000gns and went straight to Andrew Balding in Kingsclere.

He ran six times as a two year old, improving for each run and came second on his last three starts. He was beaten by a couple of very smart animals who should be Group class next year. He battled well each time and despite his string of second places his attitude cannot be questioned.

He started the season rated 75 and finished on a rating of 96 which effectively now puts him at Listed class.

As a three year old he ran eight times including Royal Ascot and the Glorious Goodwood festival. He won twice and was placed four times and never ran a poor race, we believe that he can improve further as a four year old.
